Helping Hard Rock Fall Donation Needs

Our Fall Donation Drive is underway, and we are just a couple of weeks from our trip. We are helping the Veterans Day celebration for the Veterans, the holiday dinner at the Senior Center, the Senior Event days, as well as nonperishible food items to help day-to-day operations at the Senior Center. Thank you, SO MUCH, to those who have already contributed items or finances toward this trip. It is such a blessing to be able to serve the leaders of Hard Rock, partnering with them to care for those in their community!

For Veterans Day dinner:

• Paper plates, napkins, plastic ware, plastic cups
• Veteran themed table cloth(s)
• Coffee, creamer, tea

Nonperishible food items for the Senior Center:

• Flour
• Baking powder
• Liquid shortening (Smart & Final, Costco)
• Dry food items
• Big bags of rice and beans
• Dry pasta noodles (lasagna, spaghetti, macaroni, etc.) and sauce
• #10 cans of fruit and vegetables (Smart & Final)
• Paper towels, napkins, & hand towels
• Bleach and cleaning supplies
• Papers plates and plastic ware
• Cases of water bottles

Items for Senior Day Events:

• Dry erase markers
• Permanent markers
• Paper clips
• Binder clips
• Gel pens
• Staplers
• Tape dispensers
• Foldable chairs
• Shade - pop-up tents, umbrellas

Senior Center Holiday Meal:

• Turkey or ham (drop off between Oct 27-Nov3)
• Boxed potatoes
• Canned green beans
• Canned cranberry sauce
• Canned gravy
• Frozen bread rolls
• Boxed stuffing
• Boxed brownie or cake mix
• Canned corn
• Sparkling water, juice, soda, or bottled water

You can drop off items in our new Hard Rock room off the church lobby, during our office hours or Sunday morning service. You can make monetary donations via the Vineyard Gilbert Give Page by selecting “Helping the Navajo Nation” from the drop down menu.
