Helping The Navajo Nation: December 2020

With numbers spiking all across the nation, the Navajo Nation is experiencing its own difficulties in spiking numbers and lack of resources. Recently, a news article was written talking about this:

'Truly in crisis mode': Navajo Nation requests Major Disaster Declaration amid medical shortages, growing COVID-19 infections

Since last April, Vineyard Gilbert has been working hard on partnering with the Hard Rock Chapter in the Navajo Nation to help them meet the needs of the Elders and more vulnerable in their community. The Hard Rock Chapter, which consists of over 200 households, has identified about 60 homes that have high risk patients in them - many of the households without running water, and some without electricity.

A team from Vineyard Gilbert will be taking a load up to the Hard Rock Chapter this coming Monday morning, so we would like to invite you to contribute to our essential needs drive! The items are below and you will be able to drop items off on this coming Sunday morning during our Sunday morning worship service hours (you can drop off between 8:30 am - 12:30 pm).
