Jack Moraine

Lead Pastor

Jack Moraine is the founding and lead pastor of Vineyard Community Church
(Vineyard Gilbert) and the author of Healing Ministry, reflecting his passion for
the work of the Holy Spirit and the healing presence of Jesus in the life of the
Church. He has previously served as both an area and regional leader within
Vineyard USA. Jack holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Grand Canyon
University and a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary.
Jack and his wife, Brenda, are the parents of twelve children, eight of whom were adopted later in their lives.

Jordan Gentes

Associate Pastor

Jordan is an Arizona native and has been apart of the Vineyard his whole life. He was originally at East Valley Vineyard until the two churches merged in 2003. Having grown up in the Vineyard, he has a deep value for seeing the presence of God move in services and in people’s lives. Jordan currently serves as the Operations Manager here at Vineyard Gilbert, he also helps to oversee some of our mission work in Nepal, as well as coordinates the Vineyard Men Connection Group. He is a graduate of Vineyard Institute with a certificate in Biblical Leadership. Jordan and his wife Jessica enjoy camping and the outdoors in the summer to get some reprieve from the blazing summers here in the valley.

Joel Bidderman

Associate Pastor

Joel joined staff at Vineyard Gilbert in April of 2015 as the Worship Pastor, then transitioned into the Associate Pastor role in 2020.  He is a musician, worship leader, spiritual director, and speaker, and he gives oversight to many areas of leadership: Sunday morning teaching, worship leading and worship ministry coordination, overseeing the Vineyard's communities, and  facilitating soul care and spiritual formation trainings and opportunities. Joel and his wife, Marissa, have two daughters, and as a family they love being on the adventure of following Jesus. Grace Garner

Children's Pastor

Grace is a Kansas native and a University of Kansas alumna with a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction. After a nine-year career teaching high school math, coaching cross country & track, and sponsoring the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, she transitioned to teaching adjunctly at Chandler Gilbert Community College while focusing on her family.

Committed to serving God, Grace spent a decade in leadership with Bible Study Fellowship, serving in both children’s and women’s ministries. Today, she is an active member of Vineyard Gilbert Community Church and supports Gilbert Young Life. Grace lives in Arizona with her husband, Mike, and their two children, Nathan and Abi. She enjoys hiking, gardening, and spending quality time with her family.

Jessica Gentes

Youth Pastor

Jessica has been part of Vineyard Gilbert since 2006. She grew up in both Kids Church and Youth Group here, and this community has shaped her faith and calling from a young age. After high school, she sensed the Lord leading her into ministry as she discovered a passion for serving children and families.
She joined our staff in October 2016 as the Children’s Ministry Program Coordinator, stepped into the role of Children’s Pastor in 2019, and now serves as our Youth Pastor as of 2026. Jessica is passionate about seeing kids and youth encounter Jesus and experience His presence in meaningful, life‑changing ways.
She is a graduate of Vineyard Institute with a certificate in Biblical Leadership. Jessica and her husband, Jordan, have two children—Emma and Josiah. As a family, they love spending time outdoors, especially wandering through the Rocky Mountains or enjoying the cool Alberta weather whenever they get the chance.

Magdalena Schwartz

Pastor | Spanish Ministry

Magdalena Ester Schwartz was born in Lota, Chile to a Christian family of five sisters, three brothers, along with her mother and father, who was a pastor. She immigrated to the United States in 1988 and became a citizen in 2018. She has a husband, Mark Schwartz, and three children; Carlos, Ester, and Joshua. Magdalena has been involved in Spanish ministry in the Phoenix area. Since 1988. She opened her Church, Discípulos Del Reino as an ordained pastor in 2009 and pastored that church for  8 years. In 2015 She founded a school for chaplaincy in Mesa, AZ (Capellanía Cristiana Llamados para servir). This school is currently flourishing. Magdalena became an ordained chaplain in 2018 by Universidad Cristiana el Shaddai Internacional of Texas and has an Associate's Degree in Theology. Magdalena has been involved in social justice for the Spanish Community for 25 years. She is well known for bridging the gap between law enforcement and the spanish community. She honors local law enforcement by holding a “recognition & honor breakfast” annually. Magdalena received an honorary degree of doctor of divinity from El Shaddai International Christian University in Dallas, Texas on December 15, 2018.
