February 2025 Loving Native America Update
HELPING HARD ROCK
We’re excited to share some of the ways we are continuing to partner with the leadership at Hard Rock as we go into this new year. It looks that there are some pressing needs to be met, so we are looking into doing a trip at the end of February or beginning of March with as big of a load as we can. This includes helping a student in need of some clothing.

NOT OUR NATIVE DAUGHTERS
Pastor Joel has been reaching out to Lynette Greybull, Founder and Executive Director of Not Our Native Daughters and Indigenous Youth Voices, for practical ways that Vineyard Gilbert can partner with her organization. Lynette and her family have been members of our church in the past and now work and live in the Colorado/Wyoming area. One of the practical ways that have presented itself is offering prayer support to Lynette as she leads, so over Zoom Joel (and Terry and Darlene Wildman) have had a chance to pray and minister to Lynette as she leads in some challenging ways, and Joel was invited to pray for Lynette’s team during a planning meeting for a youth trip coming up. We’re thankful for these opportunities, and look forward to more doors that may open with NOND.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (First Nations Version)
Love is patient and kind. Love is never jealous. It does not brag or boast. It is not puffed up or big-headed. Love does not act in shameful ways, nor does it care only about itself. It is not hot-headed, nor does it keep track of wrongs done to it. Love is not happy with lies and injustice, but truth makes its heart glad. Love keeps walking even when carrying a heavy load. Love keeps trusting, never loses hope, and stands firm in hard times. The road of love has no end.
