"Teach us
How to
pray."

This was the request of Jesus' original followers. They saw Jesus model a prayer life of intimacy with Father, and they wanted a prayer life like that. Here at the Vineyard, so do we! This page is a resource to encourage and empower you to grow in your prayer life along with others in community.

Teachings

"Paradise Now" by Tim Mackie

We highly recommend this wonderful teaching from Tim Mackie (of the Bible Project) on the topic of prayer.
“What prayer apparently is, is a way of engaging your whole person and surrendering the ways that we manipulate and distort reality in our consciousness and just surrendering our whole being to the Eternal now. And the Eternal now is not just an energy and it's not just a force - it's a person. It's a beautiful beautiful mind who when that mind wanted to communicate the essence of that mind's very being, that mind became a human [Jesus] and poured out his entire life in an act of self-giving love - and that is the Eternal now that we have the privilege of connecting to through prayer.”
