Our Purpose.
We believe that genuine life change comes only through Christ. Our purpose is to point students to God so they can know their identity in God, His love for them, and equip them to grow in their relationship with Christ both now and when they leave the youth group.
Our Ministry.
Helping students develop their own journey with Jesus.
- Providing an environment where students can work through their questions, fears, and doubts to discover what God has for them and their individual journey with Him.
- Helping students develop a strong Biblical foundation by not only getting into the Word but seeing how it applies our lives today – reading the Bible for transformation instead of information.
- Teaching students what it means to have a personal relationship with God through developing a personal prayer life and growing that into active conversation with God throughout their day.
Equipping students on how to partner with what God is doing in the world and minister to those around them.
- Teaching them how to be aware of what God is saying and doing and providing a space to practice that.
- Learning how to pray for others and be ready to pray – for the sick, for the broken, for those with needs.
- Teaching them how to not only share their faith, but live out their faith to bring the tangible presence of Christ to their world.
Providing a genuine community.
- Partnering with parents and families – we aren’t just a student ministry, but a family ministry as well.
- Being intentional of having an environment where students can feel comfortable being who they are – our strengths, our flaws, our struggles – without fear of judgment.
- Striving to be a community that celebrates the “wins” in each others lives – if it’s a victory for you, we want to celebrate with you!
- Providing opportunities for students to go deeper in their conversations through focused small groups and other opportunities.
- Hosting activities where we can come together to build and strengthen friendships and have fun!

When We Meet.
Wednesday Nights – Small Groups (6th-12th grade)
We meet every Wednesday from 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. in the Youth Room. This is a chance for us to have a midweek recharge and encounter God’s presence in a real and powerful way through our small groups.
Sunday Morning - Encounter (6th-12th grade)
Our Encounter youth service takes place on Sunday mornings during the 10:30 a.m. service. We start in main service for worship then head over to the Family Life Center for teaching, and to see what God has for our students and providing a chance to hang out before starting the school week.
