The Discipleship toolbox

Our desire as a Body is to be apprentices of Jesus, listening to what He is saying to us, and being obedient to follow where He is leading us to step out. Here are some content tools that can be used as we meet one on one in discipleship groups.

A Micah 6:8 Life

The simplicity of a three dimensional life is what God invites us to live: do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly.

Kairos Moments

Our lives are filled with "kairos" moments: moments where the Kingdom of Heaven wants to break through to bring healing, hope, and the Love of God. It is so crucial for us as Jesus followers to recognize these, and to surrender to Him in that place.

Rest/Work Rhythms

Life gets busy, and when that happens, it's easy for our spiritual, emotional, and even physical health to decline. As apprentices of Jesus, we need to be vigilant in maintaining healthy rhythms in our lives.

Invitation & Challenge

Just like having a healthy rhythm of rest and work, it is also important to calibrate invitation and challenge in our lives.

The Lord's Prayer

One of the best discipleship tools is the prayer that Jesus taught us to pray. This prayer points us to what it looks live to live a Kingdom life of following Jesus.

Discovery Bible Study

In this Bible study method, the leader of the group is there to host and guide a conversation rather than "teach a bible study". The goal is to equip and empower people to hear the Holy Spirit speaking to them as they explore the pages of scripture.
